A stolen motorbike found dumped on Brean beach on Saturday (September 18th) has been returned to its owner.

The village’s beach warden, Dave Furber, alerted police after spotting the bike dumped in soft sand close to Brean Down, as pictured here.

“Police ran a check on the registration plate and found the bike had been stolen from a Weston address,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The bike had been taken about a week ago and has now been returned to its grateful owner.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
