Man arrested for drink driving after accident in Brean

A motorist has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a late night accident in Brean at the weekend.

Police were called to Brean Leisure Park at just after 1am on Saturday (January 30th) when the collision occurred.

Inspector Roger Tolley confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A man was arrested after providing a positive breath specimem following a road collision."

He added that it was unclear whether the motorist was linked to the Brean Rally, which was taking place over the weekend.
