A brand new swimming pool is being installed at Brean Lesiure Park’s new multi-million pound leisure centre this week.
The new 25 metre indoor pool is being installed by Myrtha Pools of Italy at the park.
“It is made of stainless steel design and has the same style used in the swimming world championships this year,” spokeswoman Claire Wall told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The target date for the opening is Easter 2011. In addition, a toddlers play area and an under 14s outdoor play area will also be launched next spring.
The final phase will be a wave pool – incorporating a surfing area and a new slide tower – which will open in the summer of 2012.
