new jobs are to be created with the transformation of this pub
in the centre of Brean into a huge new entertainment venue containing
a Subway fast food store.
first revealed last
weekend that the former Flaming Jaes pub in South Road would
be turned into a Subway by its new owners, the House family, who
also run Brean Leisure Park.
The opening of the new restaurant will create up to 30 new employment
opportunities for local people.
House told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are committed to developing
the range of services on offer in Brean to give customers a wider
choice of places to eat and drink at great prices."

addition to the Subway restaurant the other part of the premises
will open as a family restaurant and bar called 'The Big Deal'.
all day, the restaurant will serve breakfasts, lunches, snacks,
and evening meals as well as offering a bar and hot drinks facilities.
The added that the Brean Leisure Park is also planning to open
a Chinese takeaway at Holiday Resort Unity from Easter, which
will be operated by the owners of Treasure in Oxford Street, Burnham-On-Sea.
The park is seeking staff for the new venue and is interested
in speaking with people interested in any of the following positions:
Chefs / cooks, waiting and bar team, cleaning, venue management.
