New off-licence opens to the public in Burnham town centre

-

A new off-licence opened its doors for the first time in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea on Monday (March 8th).

Mark Brooks, the manager of the town’s former Threshers off-licence, has launched ‘Brooks and Son’ in College Street – next door to where Threshers was based.

The property was previously occupied by EW Heath’s opticians, which closed down last year.

Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported Mr Brooks’ plans for a new off licence last December, when Threshers closed across the UK.

“We’ve had a very busy first day and it’s been good to welcome back some of our former customers from Threshers,” said Mark.
