Spring is in the air for green-fingered residents in Highbridge!

Christmas may be just around the corner, but Spring has been on the minds of two groups of Highbridge residents this week as they planted hundreds of bulbs in public spaces.

Green-fingered members of The Friends Of Apex Park armed themselves with spades, gloves and trowels as they took part in a planting session.

And Highbridge In Bloom members were also busy on Sunday (November 21st), planting bulbs in the town centre.

Joyce Beard, Chair of the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We buried the bulbs in various areas and look forward to seeing them bursting into bloom in the spring."
