Car destroyed in 'suspicious' blaze near Burnham-On-Sea

One fire engine from Burnham-On-Sea was called to tackle this dramatic car blaze in West Huntspill on Tuesday evening (January 5th).

Firefighters used a water jet to extinguish the fire on the A38 Main Road, but the vehicle could not be saved from being completely destroyed.

A police spokesman told that the blaze was being treated as "suspicious".

No driver was found at the scene, the car was not reported to have been stolen, and the vehicle is not registered to a local person.
