Knoll cello concert raises over £700 for Indian charity
£700 was raised for charity when a leading cellist performed
a concert in Brent Knoll on Saturday night (May 15th).
Kumar Biswas played at St Michael's Church in front of an audience
of more than 60 people.
is well known in music circles, having performed at The Royal
Albert Hall, St James Palace, Lambeth Palace, Westminster
Abbey and even at the Houses of Parliament. He has previously
played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
concert raised £749 for the Mathieson Music Trust, which
seeks to educate deprived children in India.
