Highbridge’s Mayor Michael Clarke was among a congretation of more than 150 people who filled the town’s St John’s Church on Thursday evening (December 16th) for a festive choral concert.

Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society performed a programme of festive songs alongside music from the RAFA Concert Band and children of Burnham’s St Andrew’s School.

David King, the society’s spokesman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were delighted to have such a big turnout. The audience enjoyed traditional Christmas songs performed by the society, along with some old favourites where everyone joined in.”
