Work to refurbish St Andrew’s Church Hall in Burnham-On-Sea with £30,000 of improvements is on track to be completed at the end of November.

The building in Manor Road, built in 1912, was recently awarded grant funding from environmental firm Viridor Credits.

This has enabled its kitchen to be renovated, the installation of new laminate flooring, the toilets to be modernised and the interior redecorated.

Reverend Graham Witts told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’re delighted to have got grant funding for the work. It’s all progressing well and is due to be completed at the end of November.”
