Surprise,
surprise! TV star Cilla Black spotted in Burnham-On-Sea
 TV
personality Cilla Black was apparently spotted in the centre of
Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday morning (February 7th).
Several
shoppers claim to have seen the TV presenter walking along the
High Street near Shickle Shoes aqnd she apparently stayed at a
guesthouse in the town overnight.
A
member of Burnham-On-Sea.com's discussion forums reported here
seeing the star and added: "I
saw her with my partner - she was talking to local folk!"
Geoff
Shickle of Shickle Shoes told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Unfortunately,
we didn't see her and she didn't come into our shop. The last
celebrity shopper we had was Jim Bowen from ITV quiz show Bullseye
several years ago!"
Cilla,
67, was the host of two of the UK's most popular and long-running
entertainment programmes of the 1980s and 1990s.
They
included Blind Date between 1985-2003 and Surprise,
Surprise from 1984–2001. If the sighting proves accurate,
it is not known why Cilla was in the Burnham area.
