Highbridge supermarket set to open
supermarket chain has invested £170,000 in converting Highbridge's
Somerfield store into a new Co-Op branded store, which is set
to open later this week.

Highbridge store - which employs 25 staff - will offer product
tastings and giveaways on launch day and over the weekend.
The conversion of the supermarket follows The Co-Operative Groups
£1.56 billion acquisition of the Somerfield supermarket
chain last year. All Somerfield branches are being converted to
Co-Operatives by 2011.
