New Berrow Coast Road pavement march to be held in October

-

Angry campaigners in Berrow who are calling for a new pavement to be introduced along a dangerous stretch of road in the village will once again pick up their placards to hold another protest march in October.

Berrow’s Local Action Team is organising the protest on Saturday 23rd October, starting at 11am from outside Berrow Church, as part of their long-running campaign.

Berrow Local Action Team Chairman Ken May told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the latest march is being held “to keep up the pressure on Somerset County Council to re-consider its decision on introducing a pavement along the road.”
