Hundreds of pounds was raised for a Highbridge-based charity when a carol concert was held in the town this week.

The Coastline Singers were on top form as they sang a collection of modern and traditional Christmas songs at the concert in Highbridge Community Centre, as pictured here.

The event was attended by almost 50 people and raised funds for North Sedgemoor Opportunities Group, a Highbridge-based charity which has been operating for over 30 years and supports pre-school children with childcare via children’s centres in the area.

The concert’s organiesers from North Sedgemoor Opportunities Group included Doreen Fisher, Angela Davies, Lynn Vaughan, Mavis Hook and Shirley Mills
