Mayor hands £1,000 donation to community centre
Mayor has handed over a cheque for £1,000 to the town's
community centre this week.

last month that the community centre in Berrow Road had been awarded
a huge £135,000 grant from environmental company Viridor's
Landfill Communities Fund towards the cost of the building's much-needed
in order for the grant to be handed over, the centre needed to
raise £3,813 so that it could fulfill its obligation of
raising a 10% contribution towards the overall grant - a goal
