The event – called ‘A Dickens Of A Christmas’ – featured traditional carols, songs, poems and readings along with a special shortened performance of the smash musical Oliver.
Margaret Smith, one of the organisers, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Despite the bad weather, 100 adults and children enjoyed an evening of Dickens poems, readings, songs and a concert performance performed by Robbie Burns, Darren Crockett and Stephanie Cuttell accompanied by John Johnston on the piano. Delicious mulled wine and mince pies helped keep people warm.”
