Burnham-On-Sea candidates hit General Election campaign trail

Burnham-On-Sea's MP hit the election trail on Saturday (April 10th) when he went on a walkabout in the town centre.

With voters going to the polls across the country in just three weeks, David Heathcoat-Amory met shoppers in the High Street after earlier visiting Brent Knoll.

He told "The campaign is going very well - I'm getting a very positive response on the streets."

The other candidates were also out on the campaign trail, making door-to-door visits in the area.

Mr Heathcoat-Amory (Conservative) is one of several candidates standing in the election - others are Tessa Munt (Liberal Democrats), Labour's Andy Merryfield, UKIP's Jake Baynes and BNP candidate Richard Boyce.
