Sign up now for free first aid courses in Highbridge

Residents in the Burnham-On-Sea area can brush up their first aid skills by taking part in a series of free courses next month.

Three first aid sessions will be held in Highbridge's Morland Hall on 7th and 14th October from 9.30am to 1pm and on 21st October from 9.30am to 11.30am.

The free sessions are being funded by the Learning Skills Council and are being run by experts from the British Red Cross.

Morland Hall's Richard Matthews told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Everyone's a potential life-saver and the British Red Cross' unique first aid programme is designed to help groups or individuals who require a more flexible approach to learning first aid skills."

He added: "Learning first aid skills isn't just about making someone a potential life saver, it helps increase confidence, independence and self-esteem."

To book a free place or to find out more details about the sessions, contact Richard Mathews on 07827 647856 or email him via richard.mathews@morlandhall.org.uk.
