The organisers are holding a special ‘Thursday Taster Concert’ in the town’s Ritz Acoustic Club in Victoria Street on September 2nd when the headliners will be The Dambuskers (pictured).
The group, who include ‘wild man of folk’ Steve Ruffe and fiddle virtuoso Chloe Watson, went down a storm in Burnham’s Manor Gardens at last year’s FolkFest.
Tickets, costing just £3 each, are available now from GC Music in College Street or by calling 01278 794434. Doors will open at 8pm.
There are also some tickets remaining for the FolkFest 2010 grand opening concert at the Princess Theatre the following night on Friday September 3rd.
The headliners will be Show Of Hands, who are winners of Best Duo and Best Song at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, accompanied by Miranda Sykes. Tickets cost £16 are also on sale at GC Music.
