visitors given send-off after busy week in Burnham-On-Sea
of visitors from Burnham-On-Sea's German twin town have been given
a formal send-off at a civic dinner attended by local dignitaries.

local councillors attended Thursday's dinner at the Batch Country
Hotel in Lympsham, as pictured, where the 37 visitors from Fritzlar
were bid a fond farewell.
group arrived last Monday on a five day visit in which they dropped
in at several groups in Burnham and Highbridge.

with the Burnham-On-Sea Karate Club on Wednesday at King Alfred

of the guests at Thursday's meal was paid for from the Society's
fundraising events throughout the year, while members paid for
Fritzlar Twinning Society has been in existence for over 20 years
and aims to maintain and develop Burnham and Highbridge's relationship
with Fritzlar, a historic town in the German region of Hessen.
Society's Jenny Golding told Burnham-On-Sea.com the visit had
been "very enjoyable and a great success."
