Garden centre invites Burnham gardeners on trip to Cotswolds

Keen gardeners from the Burnham-On-Sea area are being invited to sign up for a trip to two gardens in the Cotswolds on Monday April 19th.

Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll is offering people the chance to visit Cerney House Gardens in North Cerney and Batsford Arboretum in Moreton-in-Marsh (pictured), accompanied by a member of its horticultural team.

Peter Burks, General Manager of Sanders GardenWorld, said: "Both gardens are very interesting and colourful at this time of year. Cerney House Gardens is abundant with spring flowering bulbs. There's also a working organic kitchen garden, a scented garden and a herb garden."

"Batsford Arboretum has around 100 magnolias and an impressive collection of cherry trees, which flower from March until May and are under planted with spring flowering bulbs, late spring cowslips, primroses and wild garlic."

The coach will leave Sanders GardenWorld at around 9am on April 19th and return at around 5.30pm.

Tickets, which can be purchased at the garden centre’s reception, cost £20 per person. For more information, call Sanders GardenWorld on 01278 761111.
