Burnham-On-Sea carnival club seeks extra helpers

Burnham-On-Sea's carnival club is seeking volunteers with electrical and mechanical experience to help out with this year's float.

Hillview Juvenile Carnival Club won its class during the 2009 carnival circuit with its colourful 'Gee Wizz' entry (pictured above) and now it needs extra helpers as work begins on its new float for 2010.

Mark Bishop, Chairman of Hillview, told "We'd like to hear from anyone who can spare some time to work on electrical and mechanical tasks. We're a very friendly group and a warm welcome is assured."

Those who are interested should attend this Sunday's AGM of the club at the Bristol Bridge Inn in Highbridge at 7pm.
