Brean holiday camp boss praised for work with Highbridge School

-

The manager of a Brean holiday park has this week been given an award to thank him for his work with GCSE students at Highbridge’s King Alfred School.

Brian Howe, Training Manager at Pontin’s, has been working closely with GCSE Leisure and Tourism classes over the last three years at the Highbridge school and at The Robert Blake Science College in Bridgwater – and this has been recognised with an Education Business Partnership (EBP) Award.

“Our GCSE Leisure and Tourism students have based their marketing coursework on Pontin’s and have participated in a tour of the Brean holiday site and regular school based workshops,” teacher Catherine Owen told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

Brian recently visited the group to provide feedback on the marketing materials they had produced and was impressed with what he saw.
