Sixth formers at Highbridge’s King Alfred School have been enjoying their end-of-term this week by taking part in a fun-filled sports day.
The event included a fancy dress obstacle race, a three-legged contest and a space-hopper race while teachers also joined in a welly-throwing event!
“Mr Burge’s tutor group, Mausolus, won the Sixth Form Sports Day Cup and Miss Masters’ tutor group, called Alexandria, won the Annual News Quiz Cup. All competitors and spectators enjoyed a buffet afterwards,” Head of Sixth Form Jonathan Gaskell told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
