Highbridge school head teacher retires after 15 years

-

The head teacher of Highbridge’s King Alfred School has retired after a long career at the school.

Staff and pupils have said farewell to Keith Diffey, who retired last week after 15 years at the Burnham Road school.

He attended his final governing board meeting on March 30th, where governors thanked him for his commitment and wished him a happy retirement.

Mrs Burnett, Chairman of the governors, presented him with a print of Burnham. The school’s Mr Owen will take over as head teacher from the summer term.
