In photos: Brean beach hosts national land yachting regatta

Strong onshore winds provided ideal conditions for more than 30 of the UK's top land yachting enthusiasts in Brean at the weekend.

Brean Land Yacht Club hosted the annual two-day National Regatta on Brean Beach on Saturday and Sunday.

Some 30 yachts took part in the Class 3, 5 and Standart competitions and a large number of clubs were represented.

A club spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com the event had been a success, with entrants coming from across the country.
