development of 53 new homes could be built on this patch of open
space in Burnham-On-Sea if planning bosses give it the go-ahead.
Homes has submitted a new proposal to Sedgemoor District Council
for the homes on land to the west of Lawrence Close and north
of Wallace Wells Road, pictured here.
comes after a proposal to build a larger development of 69 homes
on the site was refused
new proposals include 14 two-bedroom, 36 three-bedroom and three
four-bedroom houses, in addition to 92 car parking spaces.
resident Nigel Kemp told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "There is a
great deal of concern among the residents here regarding the new
scheme, which has been altered only very slightly."
