Burnham-On-Sea
runner hands over £1,250 to lifeboat crew
Crewmembers
at Burnham-On-Sea's RNLI lifeboat station have said thanks to
a town runner who raised over £1,200 for them.
Running
enthusiast Jason Vickers ran the London Marathon to raise £2,500
that was split between the RNLI and MS Society.
On
Sunday morning (June 13th), Jason presented a cheque for £1,250
to RNLI Station Chairman Graham Wills, as pictured here.
Lifeboat Station Chairman Graham Wills told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"We applaud and thank Jason for his efforts. The money will
go a long way to equipping and training our volunteer crews."
