Burnham-On-Sea Lions Club gives hovercraft charity a boost

Burnham-On-Sea Lions Club has donated £500 towards the town's hovercraft rescue charity BARB.

The group has handed over the cheque to help the charity's £60,000 fundraising campaign to buy a replacement for the Light Of Elizabeth hovercraft.

Burnham Lions Colin Rufus told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are very happy to support BARB's fundraising campaign with this donation towards the cost of a replacement hovercraft. The charity does a great job in helping to keep our coastline safe."
