Burnham-On-Sea artist Michael Squire will be holding his annual exhibition of paintings this week.

Michael will be showcasing his work at his home between Friday 15th October and Wednesday 20th October from 10am-4pm.

He started painting as a hobby 25 years ago, working first in oils, but now mainly uses watercolours and acrylic.

“It’s the freshness of the medium in watercolour and its unpredictable fluidity that create a permanent challenge,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

His subjects are mostly local landscapes, but he also enjoys painting flowers and animals in the rural scene. You can view the exhibition at 16 Brightstowe Road in Burnham-On-Sea.
