West Huntspill concert will help Pakistan flood victims

Churchgoers near Burnham-On-Sea are set to hold a fundraising concert later this month to help victims of the floods in Pakistan.

Gloucester and District Christian Choir, pictured, will be performing on Saturday 11th September at 7pm in St Peter & All Hallows, West Huntspill when a retiring collection will be held for Christian Aid's Pakistan Appeal. Entrance will be free.

Gloucester and District Christian Choir was formed, under the direction of Musical Director Pamela Dewick, 10 years ago.

The Choir has grown over the decade to about 60 members - over half way to the original vision of a choir of 100.

Over 20 different churches and denominations are represented in the choir and members come from all parts of Gloucestershire.
