smash their way into seafront parking machine
caused hundreds of pounds of damage early this morning (Wednesday,
April 28th) when they smashed their way into a parking ticket
machine on Burnham seafront.
The machine on The Esplanade, south of the entrance to Burnham
Holiday Village, was attacked overnight by vandals, who attacked
it to try and steal the money inside. This is one several such
attacks in recent months.
District Council's Tom Dougall told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "No
cash was taken although they have done a lot of damage to the
machine, which will be expensive to repair."
