Burnham-On-Sea’s annual Party In The Park this Sunday

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s summer season of free outdoor music events kicks off this Sunday (May 9th) with the annual Party In The Park.

The town’s Manor Gardens will be alive with entertainment and live music from 12.30pm to 5.30pm featuring Burnham’s Ginger Hitlas, The Fallen Apples, Matt Wescott and Nicky Swann.

There will also be a bouncy castle, sumo wrestlers, hair-braiding and face painting, ice cream, hot food plus a real ale, cider and wine bar.

Organiser Mike Murphy from CADS (the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society) told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have our fingers crossed for great weather this Sunday and hope that everyone will come and enjoy a great afternoon’s entertainment.”

The season will continue on Sunday June 13th in the Manor Gardens with Jazz in the Park featuring The Bennet Brothers, Sheepwash Playboys, The Randy Swinglers and more.

This will be followed on Sunday July 11th by Picnic In the park, to be headlined by the Shepton Mallett Big Band. A great line-up is promised with a dance attraction among a varied programme.

CADS holds several free events a year for the benefit of people in both towns.
