launches Burnham-On-Sea's poppy campaign
Mayoress has this week launched the town's annual poppy appeal.
Maria Clarke was the special guest at Tuesday's event, organised
by members of Burnham's Royal British Legion at their HQ in Victoria
collectors will be seen across the town during the coming days
in the run-up to the annual Remembrance Day commemorations.
Mayoress told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It was a great honour
to launch the Poppy Appeal in Burnham and see all the work that
goes on behind the scenes by the Legion's volunteers in the run-up
to Remembrance Day."
