Brean rally organisers donate over £2,000 to Help For Heroes

-

The organisers of Brean’s annual car rally have this week handed over a bumper cheque for over £2,000 to a national charity.

Club Rallysport West, the group behind the popular two-day rally, presented £2,115 to the charity ‘Help for Heroes’.

Organiser Rod McKenna told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The money was a result of donations made through the K&R Mitsubishi Stages Rally held at Brean in January and came from a variety of sources, competitors’ sponsored entries, the sale of programmes and collections made by the army cadets over the weekend of the rally.”

“Club Rallysport West would like to thank all concerned for their generous support of this very worthy cause.”
