Burnham-On-Sea’s annual sailing regatta has ended with an awards ceremony for the winners.

The presentation was held at the end of the popular event, run by Burnham Sailing Club, which was held over the past two weekends.

The first handicap race was won by Steve Short onboard his boat Delta, second was Rod Southwell with Walrus, and third was John Woodman with Freetime.

The second handicap race was also won by Mr Short, while second was Barry Robertson onboard Emma and Arther Pizzey was third onboard his yacht Rascal.

The third race was won by Mr Short, with second place being claimed by Bob Parsons with Dreamer and third was Colin Morris on Kudos.

Overall, Steve Short was first and joint second places were taken by Barry Robertson and Rod Southwell. The Pusuit Award went to Pete Emery.
