Have
your say on regeneration of Burnham-On-Sea town centre
Burnham-On-Sea
residents are being invited to a public meeting to have their
say about town centre regeneration and pedestrianisation proposals.
As
first reported by Burnham-On-Sea.com last
week, Sedgemoor District Council's Corporate Scrutiny Committee
will be meeting on Monday 6th September in the Princess Theatre
in Burnham to discuss the town's regeneration and Civic Pride
plans.
The
meeting, which begins at 5pm, will be open to all members of the
public.
District Council spokeswoman Claire Faun told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"We invite everyone to come along and have their say about
the potential pedestrianisation of the High Street."
She added that a report will be presented by the Committee's task
and finish group set up to examine the potential pedestrianisation
of part of Burnham-On-Sea High Street will be debated.
