Members of Burnham-On-Sea Rotary Club have launched their annual Christmas toy appeal this week.

The club is encouraging shoppers at Highbrdge’s Asda supermarket to donate Christmas gifts to under-privileged children of any age until December 13th.

“The public is asked to put something they have bought in the supermarket into the collection box, except perishable items, and the presents will be collected daily and distributed during Christmas week,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
