£7,000
boost shared by two local schools in Burnham-On-Sea area

Two
local schools shared financial boosts of several thousand pounds
on Friday (February 5th).
Brent Knoll Primary School and Lympsham School received donations
from a regional 'Cash For Schools' competition run in conjunction
with Barclays Bank.
A
cheque for £2,000 was handed over to Brent Knoll School's
Head Teacher Karen Davidson by MP David Heathcoat-Amory watched
by dozens of cheering pupils, as pictured.
Miss
Davidson told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The money will help us
set up a new reading area at the school, with new books and a
new bean bag. We're very grateful for the donation."
Lympsham
School's Head Teacher Fiona Robertson received £5,000 to
repair its aging toilet block. Mr Heathcoat-Amory met pupils and
staff at both schools during his visits.
