Dozens of local schoolchildren are set to take part in a fundraising Christmas concert in Burnham-On-Sea this evening (Friday November 26th).
Burnham-On-Sea Lions Club has organised the second annual ‘Singing For Children’ concert, which will be held in The Princess from 7pm.
The programme will feature the Lions Brass Youth Band, the choir from Burnham Infants School and three young soloists from the Siobhan Johnson Singers.
Tickets, costing £5 for adults and £3 for children, are available from Home Hardware in the High Street, GC Music in College Street or any Burnham Lions Club member. Proceeds will go to local children’s charities chosen by Burnham Lions.
Last year, the concert raised a total of £700 which provided a day out for local young carers at Brean Leisure Park plus donations to Burnham Sea Cadets, Burnham Infants School, Berrow School and the Highbridge Dreamscheme.
