In photos: Burnham-On-Sea blanketed by layer of snow

Snow flurries swept into Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge on Tuesday (January 5th), blanketing the area and leaving slippery conditions for motorists.

Pavements and roads were again left in a dangerous state as the wintry snap continued. Police warned motorists to take extra care with only main roads in the two towns being gritted.

Burnham-On-Sea.com has been out capturing the picturesque scenes, as pictured here, in Burnham and Highbridge. The Met Office predicted snow was forecasted to continue into Wednesday.
