Burnham-On-Sea
Carnival Club boosted by street party

Hundreds
of pounds was raised for Burnham-On-Sea's Hillview Carnival Club
when a town centre pub held a popular outdoor street party
on Sunday evening (August 29th).
Big
crowds flocked to the event outside the Somerset and Dorset, which
featured live music, a barbecue, stalls, face painting and a tombola.
Among
the music acts were the Cheddar Cheese Band, So Watt and Terri.
Organiser
Mark Bishop from Hillview Carnival Club told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"The big crowd enjoyed first class entertainment thanks to
John and Pat, the landlords."
"Many
thanks also go to our club members who worked hard manning the
stalls, cooking, and selling tickets, and a big thanks to everyone
for attending and making it such a success."
