Asda
backs Burnham-On-Sea hovercraft charity's fundraising
night

Supermarket
giant Asda has given its support to the Burnham-On-Sea charity
that operates the town's life-saving rescue hovercrafts by helping
to sell tickets for next weekend's fundraising 'super hero' theme
night.
Crewmembers
from BARB were invited to the Highbridge store this week to promote
the 'Super Hero Night', which will be held at the Beachcomber
Inn in Brean on Saturday (March 20th) from 7.30pm.
All
money raised will go towards the £60,000 cost of buying
a replacement hovercraft for the charity.
In
addition to live music from The Soundations - a popular motown,
disco and soul group - there will also be a hot food buffet. Visitors
are being encouraged to come in super hero themed outfits and
there will be prizes for the best.
Organiser
Michael Lowe told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The event will be
a really fun night which will raise money for BARB's new replacement
hovercraft."
Tickets,
priced £12 each, are available from the Hair Of The Dog
barber shop on Burnham High Street or by calling in at the hovercraft
station on Burnham seafront on Wednesday evening from 7pm.
