That's swan lucky bird! Rescuers retrieve injured animal

A rescue boat team from Burnham-On-Sea was called out to help animal carers retrieve an injured bird from a lake in Bridgwater on Friday afternoon (October 8th).
BARB’s boat crew took Secret World carer Laura Gill out to rescue the swan from a fishing lake near Elmwood Avenue.
The bird had swallowed a length of fishing line and a nearby resident called Secretworld to report that it was in a distressed state.
"The bird was incredibly weak and did not appear to have been feeding, suggesting it had swallowed some fishing line," Laura told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The bird was taken back to Secret World for treatment - we’re very grateful to the BARB team in helping to reach the animal."
Last month, another swan had to be after it got tangled up in fishing hooks and line at Shapwick.
