CCTV appeal after attempted theft at Burnham supermarket

Police have released CCTV photos of two men they want to speak following an incident at a Burnham-On-Sea supermarket where a knife was used to try and gain access to a display case containing a mobile phone.

The incident occurred at 5.30pm on 13th July at Burnham’s Tesco supermarket in Ben Travers Way.

In the photos, one man is shown wearing a white shirt and jeans, while the second is pictured with a black shirt and jeans.

A knife was used to try and gain access to a security case containing a mobile phone.

Officers who are investigating the attempt theft and possession of a bladed article are keen to talk the two men. Anyone with information about the incident or who recognises the pair should contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
