Tuckers Garage site will
be turned into 27 new flats
site of Burnham-On-Sea's former Tucker's Garage will be converted
into two blocks of 27 flats, it was decided by a group of district
councillors on Tuesday (April 13th).

Committee gave a green light to the new complex in Victoria Street,
councillor Pauline Pollard told the meeting that the Town Council
opposes the scheme since it feels the proposed 12-space car park
would be too small, while other councillors also aired concerns
about traffic congestion in the area.

some discussion among councillors about potential traffic problems,
but the County Council's highways department did not feel these
would be significant enough to halt development."
