Thousands of Volkswagen enthusiasts descended on Brean over the weekend for the annual Van West festival.

Over 500 VW vans were on show at Warren Farm during the popular two-day festival.

Organisers Chris White and Adrian Ashby told Burnham-On-Sea.com more than 1,000 visitors came to the event on Saturday and Sunday.

“Despite the cold, wet weather we’ve had a large numbers of visitors,” said Chris. “There’s so much going on – including dozens of trade stands, a climbing wall, live music, plus lots of entertainment for families. All are welcome.”

The vehicles also took part in a mass convoy on Brean beach on Sunday afternoon, as pictured below.
