Display of musical Christmas lights lit up in Burnham-On-Sea

-

A unique Christmas display of more than 10,000 lights whose sequence is determined by the beat of festive tunes, has been switched on in Burnham-On-Sea.

Keith and Jane Mitchell lit up their impressive display at their Winchester Road home in front of a crowd of neighbours and onlookers on Saturday (December 4th).

“It’s taken about two week to put the display in place – the recent cold spell didn’t help us – but we’re delighted with the end result,” Keith told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The music has been specially chosen to match the movement of the lights and everything is sequenced.”

The lights can be viewed every night from now until January 6th between 5.30pm and 9pm, with donations for charity being encouraged.

“This year’s display will again be raising money for SCOPE,” said Keith, who has recently climbed up Kilamanjaro in aid the charity and twice won a National Slimathon competition in recognition of his efforts in slimming from 33 stone to 15 stone.
