Highbridge park hosts fun-filled writing workshop

Imaginations ran wild when a special writing workshop for children who enjoy writing stories was held at Highbridge's Apex Park on Saturday (May 8th).

Creative writing teacher Debby Grice, dressed as a witch, oversaw the fun workshop at the Apex Information Point.

"Children were encouraged to bring their imaginations along to see what strange creatures and surprises could be created in their stories," she told Burnham-On-Sea.com. "It was a fun morning for everyone."

The free event was funded by the Somerset Community Foundation, who granted £2,615 to the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group last year so that events and workshops can take place until June 2010.
