Youngsters from a Highbridge school have this week joined forces with a group of volunteers to plant hundreds of bulbs across a local park.

Churchfield Primary School pupils worked with the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group and Sedgemoor District Council to bury the daffodil bulbs at Apex Park.

Sedgemoor’s Clean Surroundings Team provided the bulbs free of charge and helped by digging holes ready for planting.
